This sculptural outfit is made from innovative materials such as bio-leather made from cactus, recycled pieces of construction and recycled organic cotton. It is inspired by the "Void" series of the sculptor Isamu Noguchi, and the study of space and shadows that his works create. It’s shape pays homage to the simple and pure silhouettes of Cristóbal Balenciaga's silhouettes.

Traditional tailoring

“The garment combines traditional tailoring methods with imaginative draping in order to render classical men’s evening wear more feminine. A 17th century style cravat and men’s tailored trousers have been reinterpreted to place them in a modern context. The floor-length cravat is constructed with four layers of upcycled crinoline, which were then pad-stitched into the curve of the hem.”
