The proposal is a short blazer dress in dark grey cold wool. The lining, made from thermal blankets, reflects the owner's skin inside the garment. It is designed in the shape of a rectangle, framing the torso. The collar is connected to the lapel which emphasises the straight lines of the garment. The back has two flap pockets just below the waist. The buttons are replaced by door locks.
The grey cell
“In my design I applied the idea of a grey cell to the traditional perception of the roles in fashion. Throughout my research and creative process I constantly asked myself what is art in fashion? Who is the artist? Who is the viewer? What is the relationship between all of them and how can those relationships be expressed in the design? I experimented creating symbols and allusions to utter those ideas in a garment”.
